OVERVIEW
Flow meter for heavy duty industrial applications
Reduce your energy costs and increase your sustainability with the VA 550. Monitor your consumption and analyze your leakage flows with just one measuring device. Due to its design, it is also ideal for mobile measurements.Special mechanical features
Special Features
- All wetted parts are made of stainless steel, especially for applications with high demands on cleanliness and surface quality
- Rough industrial applications can be realized due to robust aluminum housing
- Recommended for flammable gases such as natural gas, hydrogen, biogas, etc. due to ATEX or DVGW approval
- Measurement of mass flow rate, direct output of standard volume flow rate
- Highly accurate at small as well as large flows
- Pressure and temperature compensated by the thermal mass flow principle
- Quick and easy installation via a standard ½” ball valve
- No moving parts, therefore low maintenance
- Vanishingly low pressure loss due to vanishingly low blockage of the diameter
Technical details of the VA 550 flow meter
- 04…20 mA, Pulse and a Modbus RTU (RS 485) interface as standard, optional interfaces like Modbus TCP (Ethernet), PoE and M-Bus available
- Pressure resistance up to 100 bars
- Temperature range up to 180°C
- Protection class IP 67
- Integrated display for a visualization of the measured values
- Can be used from DN 20 to DN 2000, larger diameters on request
- Easy installation under pressure
- Settings adjustable via the keys of the display
- Main counter reading can be reset via the display
- For velocities up to 224 Nm/s
- Highly accurate with an accuracy of ± 1.5% or ± 1% of m.v. as well as ± 0.3% of f.s.
