OVERVIEW
Monitor Air Pressure Remotely
Monnit’s Enterprise Differential Air Pressure Wireless Sensor measures the pressure difference between two input ports and transmits the measurement to iMonnit from -500 Pa to 500 Pa.
This battery-powered pressure sensor measures the air pressure difference (with a range of -500 Pa to 500 Pa) between its dual ports. If, based on your parameters, the sensor measures a pressure differential between its ports, you’re alerted via text, email, or call. A difference likely points to a dirty filter or a machine/system that needs immediate service.
When viewing the sensor from the top, the right inlet port is the positive or high-side pressure input. When the pressure on this port is greater than the left port, the sensor produces a positive pressure reading. When the pressure is greater on the left port, the sensor produces a negative pressure reading.
Manage air pressure anyhere, with 24/7 monitoring
Remotely monitoring air pressure helps facility managers keep air filters clean, HVAC systems performing optimally, and extends system longevity. Hospitals, pharma firms, and manufacturing facilities count on high-performance HVAC to manipulate air, contain infectious particles, and assist with proper filtration. This function is vital for the freestanding patient isolation structures that enable infectious patient treatment and maintain pharmaceutical purity.
This sensor comes with an industrial battery included with the life of up to 7 years.
All industrial sensors are enclosed in a reliable, weatherproof NEMA-rated enclosure that are constructed for both indoor and outdoor use. These rugged enclosures protect the sensor circuitry against;
- Falling dirt
- Wind-blown dust
- Rain, sleet, snow, splashing water, and hose-directed water
- Ice formation on the enclosure
- Increased resistance to corrosion
Features
- Impressive wireless range of up to 1,200 feet through walls
- Frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS)
- Improved interference immunity
- Improved power management for longer battery life
- Encrypt-RF® Security (Diffie-Hellman Key Exchange + AES-128 CBC for sensor data messages)
- Over-the-air updates
- Free iMonnit basic online wireless sensor monitoring and notification system to configure sensors, view data and set alerts via SMS text and email
- Stores 2000 to 4000 readings if gateway connection is lost (non-volatile flash, persists through the power cycle)
- 10-minute heartbeats = ~ 22 days
- 2-hour heartbeats = ~ 266 days
