Get alerted when light levels are too high or too low

This Monnit mount-and-monitor meter measures light intensity in lux (the SI unit of illumination, equal to one lumen/square meter). These light meters have a measurement range of 0–83,000 lux (indoor range) that spans from moonlit nights to full daylight. If lux measurements move outside of user-set limits, these meters alert designated users via text, email, or call for correction.

Monnit’s Wireless Light Meter uses a highly sensitive photo-diode to detect and measure the intensity of light around the device from 0-82,000 lux (luminescence/unit area). The sensor is also capable of alerting upon detection of a change in lighting conditions. The sensor returns a value in ‘lux’ to the iMonnit Online Sensor Monitoring and Notification System. The data is stored in the online system and can be reviewed and exported as a data sheet or graph. Notifications can be set up through the online system to alert the user when light is present or not with the ability to only notify within time of day parameters.

The sensor comes with an industrial battery included with the life of up to 7 years.

All industrial sensors are enclosed in a reliable, weatherproof NEMA-rated enclosure that are constructed for both indoor and outdoor use. These rugged enclosures protect the sensor circuitry against;
