The HOBOnet Wireless Ultrasonic Wind Speed & Direction Sensor is compact and rugged with no moving parts. Because this sensor is ultrasonic it can measure very low wind speeds, down to 0.4 m/s (compared to 1.0 m/s for our mechanical sensors). HOBOnet Wireless Sensors communicate data directly to the HOBO RX3000 weather station or pass data through other wireless sensors back to the central station. They are preconfigured and ready to deploy, and data is accessed through HOBOlink, Onset’s innovative cloudbased software platform.
